Courses for Finance teams

Make sense of the numbers, explore scenarios and plan ahead.

For CFOs, controllers, FP&A teams, accountants and finance operations professionals

13 courses, each taught one-on-one by an AI tutor at your level, from $47. Start with one, take the whole path, or pick the short course for the problem in front of you.

What you’re up against

Built around the hardest parts of the work

Make the numbers easier to trace and the decisions easier to prepare. Build from a checked variance explanation to proactive agents that maintain a reporting cycle, then coordinate a Factory of proactive finance AI agent teams around a management pack. Finance must explain what changed, what the evidence supports and which assumptions drive the next decision. The course connects source data, calculations and commentary so that a polished report never outruns its numbers.

Your path

3 courses, in the order to take them

Each one builds on the one before. Start wherever fits: the placement check in each course sets your level.

  1. Start here

    Finance AI Intro

Frame the question, check every figure the AI writes about, and explain a scenario where each driver is a stated assumption. Six self-paced lessons on sample tables, with an AI tutor.

    • Frame a financial question with the reporting period, currency, units and calculation method stated up front.
    • Calculate a budget variance from a sample profit-and-loss statement and budget, and show the working so a reviewer can follow it.
    • Prompt an AI tool for variance commentary, then check each claim in its output against the numbers before the note is used.

  2. Go further

    Finance AI Intensive

Set up data, reconciliation, variance, forecast and Reporting Watch agents that work from accepted figures, route exceptions to a finance reviewer and can be paused or retired.

    • Define a data intake agent that turns successive sample batches into one consistent, traceable dataset instead of an unexplained collection of spreadsheets.
    • Build a reconciliation agent that checks each accepted data version, records differences with their evidence, and routes them to a reviewer without making unexplained adjustments.
    • Create a variance review agent that refreshes commentary when reconciled results change, and requires evidence before a possible cause is written as management commentary.

  3. Master it

    Finance AI Capstone

Coordinate three proactive AI agent teams through one shared record. Carry a late correction through analysis, narrative and slides, and give finance a pack to check, then release or return.

    • Assign responsibilities, named owners and an acceptable deliverable to each of three proactive AI agent teams: Data and Control, Planning and Analysis, and Management Reporting.
    • Define handoff contracts in a shared record that carry the accepted dataset version, period, entity, currency, units, control status, assumption version and open exceptions, and reject any handoff that arrives incomplete.
    • Set up OpenAI Dots or Claude Duet to follow the approved record across team handoffs and return reconciliations, variance explanations and unresolved differences. Measured variances stay separate from explanations that are not yet evidenced.
